Attention Parents and Students! Student emails have received information about Elective Courses that will be offered at FHS next year. We will begin registering rising seniors on Tuesday afternoon this week. Please discuss these offerings as a family. Help students make good decisions about classes that can benefit them in their future career.

Reminder to Parents and Students! ACT testing for 11th grade students will be tomorrow, Friday Mar 1. Testing sites have not changed. This a regular school day for all students. Juniors will report at 8am with charged iPads and photo ID. Thank you for your patience and good luck to our Juniors!!

We apologize for the technical difficulties experienced today that caused the postponement of ACT testing for Juniors. The ACT will now given on Friday, March 1. Juniors, will be allowed to leave with parental permission after testing is complete and the absence from their remaining classes that day will not count against them.
This will be a regular school day for all other students. All Juniors will be testing in their original test plan location. The English building will be completely off limits except for Juniors testing. All Juniors should report to their test site by 8:00 with their Ipads completely charged.

On Friday, March 8th at 9:00am we will be offering the ASVAB at Franklin High School. This is a Teacher's Workday - so, you must make prior arrangements for a ride to attend since buses will not be running.
If you are interested in taking this test, please send me Ms. Fields an email at emily.fields@macon.k12.nc.us . 10th, 11th, and 12th graders are welcome to take it!!
We will be taking it online in the FHS Computer Lab.
All you need to bring is yourself!
ALSO - IMPORTANT - if you have NO CLUE as to what you want to do career-wise after high school, the ASVAB can give you some suggested paths. *This is not just a “test” for the military!!*

9th, 10th, and 11th grade students....start thinking about your electives now.
