Parents and Students,
This is a reminder that Monday, October 12th, is a Teacher Workday, and students will not have regularly scheduled classes.
However, all sophomores are required to report to FHS to take the PreACT.
Sophomore students should plan to arrive at school before 8:00 AM and be picked up once testing is complete, around 11:00 AM.
Please note that bus transportation will not be provided on Monday. Students will need to arrange their own transportation to and from school.
Thank you!

Parents and Students,
The Homecoming Dance scheduled for tonight will still take place as planned! The dance will begin at 8:00 PM and end promptly at 10:00 PM.
Due to the forecasted rain, we encourage students to park on in spaces available on McCollum Drive behind the Media Center or utilize the church parking lot.
Students should enter through the back entrance of the Media Center, where buses unload each morning.
We look forward to a great night!

This weekend was a huge success for our National Honor Society!
On Friday, our NHS members participated in Macon Valley’s Alzheimer’s Walk, giving back to our community and supporting an important cause.
Then on Sunday, we had the privilege of officially inducting our newest members into the National Honor Society!
We are incredibly proud of these students and the way they continue to represent Franklin High School through scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
Congratulations to all of our newest NHS members!

🎉 Congratulations to Mr. John Bowles! 🎉
We are excited to congratulate Mr. John Bowles on being named the Macon County Schools Beginning Teacher of the Year!
Mr. Bowles has been an amazing addition to Franklin High School and our CTE Department. His passion for what he teaches is unmatched, and that enthusiasm shows each day in the way he works with and supports his students.
Beyond the classroom, Mr. Bowles is the kind of person who will drop everything to help someone in need. His willingness to serve others and his dedication to FHS have made a tremendous impact in a short amount of time.
FHS is incredibly lucky to have Mr. Bowles as part of our Panther family!
Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition, Mr. Bowles!
