Counseling Cove
Welcome! This site is designed for current students and parents, as well as future and former students of Franklin High School. Here you will find resources that will help current students and parents research colleges and careers, provide information for prospective students, and assistance for students who need copies of their high school transcripts; email all transcript requests to Denise Jostes. Students are encouraged to visit their school counselor for academic, college and career, and personal/social counseling needs.
We have an open door policy at FHS! To meet with your school counselor, stop by the Counseling Cove. If we are unavailable when you visit, you can schedule an appointment with Ms. Jostes at the front desk in the Counseling Cove or email your counselor.
Google Classroom:
2024-2025 Seniors have been invited and are expected to join the Google Classroom where updates regarding reminders, post-secondary planning and events, as well as financial aid opportunities are posted. Parent/Guardian(s) can have their student invite them so that they can receive those updates as well.
FAFSA and Financial Aid/RDS Questions:
Please contact Becka Dulaney, our Post-Secondary Adviser, if you have any questions throughout the year regarding financial aid opportunities. Becka can also assist in completing the Residency Determination Service form.

Students are encouraged to speak with Becka Dulaney, or their counselor, regarding their "after highschool" plans. We encourage students to use the resources below to help them explore different interests, careers, or college/universities.
