In 2027, Franklin High School will open the doors to a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility.

Thanks to the efforts of the Macon County Board of Education, the Macon County Commissioners, and several North Carolina state legislators, the county secured over $60 million in grant funding and committed additional resources toward the construction of a $140 million new Franklin High School. This project reflects a bold investment in the future of Macon County students.
