Monday was an amazing night for soccer at FHS! While we didn’t get the win on the scoreboard, our players had an opportunity to give back to the community. They offered many of our future Panthers Soccer Players a chance to experience taking the field with the team. In a perfect world, we would have won the match, as well. However, tonight gave the men on the team a glimpse of what it’s like to be a mentor. Also, we can’t thank the fans enough for the amazing support you showed tonight! You cheered the team on all the way through. You helped create an atmosphere that gave the guys on the team a burst of energy to keep up the effort. Proud to be a Franklin Panther!

On Wednesday, September 18, Macon County students attended Noon Rotary. During this time, students were able to share about their experiences with Southwestern Community College Public Safety pathway and the new Firefighter Academy. In addition, Hunter Jamison, a former Franklin High School graduate and current employee of the Macon County Sheriff's Office, was able to share his experience as he is a product of the Public Safety pathway. A very special shout out to Larry Pickens for his dedication to this program and these students!
