Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well. There are multiple college application deadlines on Oct. 15th. That's one week away!!! There are also deadlines for some scholars programs on Oct. 15th. Once again, that's in one week! I have listed them below for you. College Applications due on Oct. 15th UNC - Chapel Hill NC Central University East Carolina University Johnson C. Smith University Scholars Program Applications due on Oct. 15th UNC-Chapel Hill Morehead-Cain NC Central University Cheatham-White East Carolina University Brinkley-Lane ETSU Roan Scholars UNC-Charlotte Levine Scholars Remember, you must do the main early action application IN ADDITION to the application for the scholars program. Some scholars programs also require that you have a counselor nominate you or you can self-nominate to apply. Both ETSU Roan Scholars and UNC-Charlotte Levine Scholars applications are due before the main early action application is due. That's a little confusing, and I just wanted to clarify. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out! 📣 Attention Panther Nation! 📣 Homecoming Week is just around the corner (starting 10/7), and this year, we’re taking a different approach! As we support our surrounding counties affected by Hurricane Helene, let’s focus on community, unity, and spirit rather than competition. 🗓️ Spirit Days: Monday: Wear blue to support West Henderson and Smoky Mountain! 💙 Tuesday: Rock yellow for Tuscola! 💛 Wednesday: Don your purple for North Henderson! 💜 Thursday: Go green for East Henderson! 💚 Friday: Wear red to Show your Panther pride and support Pisgah! ❤️ ✨ Fundraiser Alert! ✨ As part of our Homecoming Week, we’re reaching out to support our neighboring counties impacted by Hurricane Helene. “Coins for Conference” is a special campaign dedicated to raising funds for schools within our conference that have faced significant damage and loss. They need our help to rebuild, recover, and restore the resources essential for their students and staff. Every penny counts! We invite FHS students, staff, and our entire community to contribute any loose change or cash throughout the week. Donation buckets will be set up around campus, making it easy to lend a helping hand. Together, we can help provide the essentials they need to recover and rebuild. Thank you for showing up for our neighbors and helping us make a meaningful impact. Let’s come together to lift up those who need it most! 💪💖 Let’s uplift our community and make a meaningful impact together! Thank you for your support! 💪💖 #FHSFamily #Homecoming2024 #CoinsForConference
