Two new school records coming out of another big weekend for FHS Track and Field!! Amy Mendoza Lopez in the 3200m and Jonas Phillips in the 300 Hurdles!!

Congratulations to Addie Deal for placing in the top 3 in the State for her Supervised Agricultural Project!!!

We are so proud of you Addie! She will travel to Raleigh in June to interview and then find out her final placing!

Franklin High School would like to give a shoutout to Countryside Chevrolet for their generous $10,000 donation to our football program for the purchase of new helmets for our players.

Congratulations to FHS Senior Mark Vanhook on being awarded a prestigious 4-year Air Force ROTC Scholarship! ✈️

This highly competitive scholarship will cover full tuition and fees at the college of his choice, along with additional benefits for books and living expenses. The Air Force ROTC program is designed to develop future leaders through a combination of academic coursework, leadership training, and physical preparation, ultimately leading to a commission as an officer in the United States Air Force after graduation.

Mark’s achievement reflects his hard work, leadership, and commitment to serving something greater than himself. We are incredibly proud of him and excited to see all he will accomplish in the future!.

Shoutout to Mr. Bowles, our FHS Foods teacher, on being selected as this month’s Powerful Panther by the Student Leadership class! 🐾
