Shout out to our Men’s Soccer team.
The Panthers traveled last night to take on the #1 seed South Point and battled to the very end. The match was tied 3-3 with less than four minutes left in overtime before South Point pulled ahead, finishing 5-3.
The Panthers’ season comes to a close in the second round of the 5A state playoffs. They went on the road and took the top team in the West to the wire.
We are proud of this team and what they accomplished this season.

Bus 150 is running late this morning due to Mechanical issues. Once the bus garage brings a spare, the route will run as usual.
Men’s Soccer | Round 2 Playoffs
The Panthers travel today for an NCHSAA 2nd Round matchup vs. South Point at 6:00 PM.
Best of luck to our men’s soccer players and coaches — and safe travels to everyone headed to South Point.
Tickets: $10 (digital through Hometown Ticketing) or cash at the gate.
Stream: The game will be available on the NFHS Network.
Note: South Point will have security screening at the gates and a no-bag policy in place for all spectators.

Arrival & Dismissal Reminders for Franklin High Car Riders
To help keep traffic moving safely and efficiently, please keep the following in mind:
Morning Drop-Off
Use the front loop for student drop-off.
Pull all the way forward to the cone by the sidewalk.
Please do not stop at the crosswalk to unload unless traffic in front of you has already stopped.
Students may unload once traffic has stopped and your vehicle has reached the sidewalk, for the safety of everyone and the consideration of other drivers.
Afternoon Pick-Up
We will continue using both McCollum and the front loop for dismissal.(Please communicate with your student to determine the pickup location)
Please pull all the way forward in the loop when traffic moves.
The outside left lane is for exiting after your student is loaded.
For safety and the consideration of others, do not use the crosswalk as a pick-up or drop-off point.

During Senior Night Week, our senior football players each chose an FHS teacher who has made a lasting impact on their lives. On Tuesday of Senior Night Week, those teachers were presented with their player’s jersey to proudly wear on Friday in honor of Senior Night.

The FFA Quiz Bowl challenges members to show their knowledge of FFA history, rules, ethics, guidelines, and events — and our Panthers represented Franklin with excellence! 🐾💪
Franklin Varsity Football has secured a #6 Seed in the 5A NCHSAA West Playoff Bracket and will have a Bye in the 1st Round on Friday Nov. 7th.
They’ll await the winner of Forest Hills / Smoky Mountain in the 2nd Round on Friday Nov. 14th at a host site TBD.

October 31, 2025 Bus Adjustments: Bus 163 will not operate (AM or PM)... Bus 23 will run in the afternoon only; it will not run in the morning.
Bus 110 will not run this afternoon (10/28/25). We apologize for the last minute notice.
Bus 28 will run every morning this week, but it only run it's afternoon route on Tuesday (10/28) and Wednesday (10/29).
